The Detroit Northeasterners believe that reading is fundamental which is why we support the Friends of the Detroit Public Library. Our children are the future and we want to ensure we do what we can to support literacy in our community.

During the holiday season, the Detroit Northeasterners celebrate by donating. The Children's Center is an organization that assists youths struggling with mental and behavioral health challenges or have experienced trauma. For several years, we have supported the organization by providing the children with hats, scarves and gloves to ensure they stay warm during our brutal Detroit winters.

In partnership with our national organization, the Detroit Northeasterners donated $5,000 to the American Cancer Society. The donation went toward research and treatments as they get closer to eradicating this terrible disease.
